Since I was old enough to use a pencil, I aspired to become an artist and entrepreneur. I started with selling hand drawn¬ trading cards with caricatures of my teachers and later in high school upgraded to Airbrushing and Silk-Screening Custom Designed T-Shirts with my dad. When I received my first computer, I immediately started learning web design and am now attending my final classes at TMCC for an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Communications. I thoroughly enjoy my new role as a graphic artist for The Factory.
Originally from Yerington Nevada, when I’m not working I can usually be found off-roading, camping, fishing and getting lost in nearby mountains.
When I’m not at school or work, you can find me going on leisurely bike rides, touring art galleries, experimenting with art, reading feminist literature, gold panning, or meditating in Mother Nature.
Art and Design is what fuels me, and keeps my Asian parents awake at night. I’ve never been someone to back down from a challenge and have made it my goal to prove that I don’t need to be a Doctor to be successful. R.Kelly once told me, “If I can see it, then I can be it. If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it.” I don’t want to let him down.
On my spare time I enjoy screen printing my own t-shirts, following Knicks and Warriors basketball, and talking current events with my two Boston Terriers.

Hi there! My name is Crystal and I like to occupy space and breathe air.
Born in the Bay and raised in Reno, I’ve always referred to the West Coast as home, but I’m an adventurer who lives by the mantra to make each day the best day ever. With a formal education in Digital Media that spans the University of Nevada, Università degli Studi di Torino, and 국민대학교, I enjoy learning in collaborative and innovative environments.
I’m also an ice cream enthusiast, avid knitter, and sci-fi buff who spends her weekends in art galleries and pedalin’ around Reno on two wheels.
